Since April of 2011, we have spayed and neutered over 5,000 cats. This has prevented the birth of literally thousands of unwanted kittens. Spay Day HRM is 100% volunteer based. Our work is supported through donations, tribute gifts, fundraising events and sponsorship. 

1) We assist people on low income to have their cat spayed/neutered.

2) We partner with the SPCA and the City of Halifax on a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) project.

3)We rescue and adopt out cats and kittens.
